Bona Mega

Single-component waterborne polyurethane with oxygen cross-linking. The residential workhorse.

Overview

Bona Mega is a one-component waterborne polyurethane that uses oxygen cross-linking technology to achieve exceptional hardness without requiring a separate hardener. It is the most widely used residential floor finish in Australia.

Unlike Traffic HD, Mega does not need mixing — open the can and apply. This makes it faster to work with and eliminates pot life concerns. The trade-off is slightly less hardness than the 2K systems, but for residential use it is more than adequate.
